About

In 1982, she was born in Chiba Prefecture.

After graduating from high school, she went to illustration at a graphic design vocational school and graduated at the age of 20.

She participated in the Design Festa and performed live performances. It is said for the first time that she came up with a method of drawing directly by hand without using a brush.

Began creative activities on the road from 2002 (2002),

and participate in GEISAI # 4 the following year. Ayako who attracted attention on the spot won the Scout Award.

After that, she visited New York, returned to Japan with the knowledge of foreign galleries, and joined GEISAI again in 2006 (2006). Ayako’s work began to be introduced in Europe from around this time, and she recorded more than 100 sales in live paintings performed at the art Basel exhibition in Switzerland. she moved to Berlin around 2009.

Both popularity and evaluation are higher in Europe than in Japan, but mainly in overseas activities, but when the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred in 2011 (2011), she returned to Japan and let children in the Tohoku region draw by which I made a creation. In the same year, she held a large-scale solo exhibition at the Kunsthall Museum in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and the Danubiana Museum in Slovakia (Slovak edition) the following year. In May 2017, a solo exhibition of three-dimensional works using acrylic board is held at “GALLERY TARGET” in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
